These facilities help manufacturers free up valuable production space in their own plants while making starting-up a business economical and quick for contract research companies. Low rise factories now come in the '9' series - a new generation of ready-built factories that are modern, large and efficient. The '9' series factory optimizes production space, has a better interior layout and an additional column free floor. On the other hand, high-rise flatted factories, located in 35 industrial parks amidst public housing estates across Singapore, are designed to integrate marketing, management, production, storage and other industrial activities. Last but not least, stack-up factories offer ground-floor convenience, private loading areas and car parks.
