Industrial Land


There is a wide spectrum of industrial facilities in Singapore catering to the specific needs of biomedical manufacturing activities. Companies can choose from industrial facilities that are fully serviced with quality finishes, innovative designs, functional layouts and easy accessibility, or they can also custom build their own facilities on the industrial land of Jurong Town Corporation (JTC).

Located at the western part of Singapore, the Tuas Biomedical Park provides a 'plug and play' environment for manufacturing operations. Its comprehensive package of offerings from essential infrastructure to third-party services such as steam, wastewater treatment and industrial gases has made it a location of choice for pharmaceuticals and medical technology companies to establish manufacturing facilties. All essential infrastructure from roads, sewer lines, power lines, drainage systems, portable water to telecommunication lines are already set. Within a short span of existence, the 183-hectare park has already attracted global giants such as Ciba Vision, GlaxoSmithKline, Merck Sharpe & Dohme, Novartis, Pfizer, Wyeth Pharmaceuticals and Wyeth Nutritionals within its premises. An additional 188 hectares will be developed as Park II to cater to the enthusuastic stream of International interest. Plans are underway to establish a major amenities centre with a repertoire of leisure facilities at the Park to allow tenants to relieve their stress and interact with others after work.
